HMP & YOI Doncaster is located at Marshgate, near the centre of Doncaster. Both the rail and bus stations are within walking distance of the prison.
The cost of a local taxi from the bus or rail station is approximately £3.00.
For visitors arriving by car, the visitors car park is on the right hand side prior to the barriers. For visitors with a disabled permit, please drive through the barrier and park directly outside the visitors centre.

the M1, go onto the M18. Come off at junction 3 and head towards Doncaster
town centre. Follow signs for the railway station. The railway station
will be on your left, at the next roundabout go straight on. At the next
roundabout take your second exit to go over St. George's Bridge. At the
traffic lights turn left onto St. Mary's Bridge. Take your 1st right towards
the prison.
At
Junction 36, take the A630 Doncaster / Rotherham road towards Doncaster
and follow signs for Doncaster town centre. Follow signs for the railway
station. The Railway station will be on your left, at the next roundabout
go straight on. At the next roundabout take your second exit to go over
St. George's Bridge. At the traffic lights turn left onto St. Mary's Bridge.
Take your 1st right towards the prison.
Please note that the North Bridge is closed to all vehicles except buses. Alternative directions are as per the map below.
